I’ve seen many businesses, both client side and agency working on social media campaigns, but not really paying enough attention to the metrics. This video guide is designed to get you thinking about what you measure, how you measure it and what it means.

Too many times, I’ve seen agency reports that simply post a list of activity and overall page likes, with no thought about engagement. To really report and learn from the reports, you must know what you want to get out of you social campaigns.

If there’s one thing I stand for in social media marketing, it’s that pretty pictures are nice, but social media marketing is about the science behind why we comment, why we share, why we engage and why we act. Without an understanding of them, we simply have a way to post nice pictures and share funny videos, but there’s no benefit to the business as a whole.
